A bit out of sequence here. Our Maroochydore stopover included Peter and Wendy inviting us to dinner at their house in Buderim. It is a pity that we were so late starting on our trip that most of our stays on the way were very brief and we really wanted to spend more time with everyone.

Another reason for rushing up the coast was to catch Sandy and Ron during their visit to Mike and Laura at their new home in Glenwood near Gympie in time for Sandy's birthday. We made it on the day!

After a long drive we arrived at Emu Park to find that we had booked in for the next day. They kindly parked us in the park with no services, free for the night
