Welcome to Cindy and David's 2021 Adventures
2021 Sawtell
Another release from lock down restrictions towards the end of 2021 saw us make our hasty way up the coast before the govt changed its mind!
View from Muttonbird Island back over Coffs Harbour.
It has been many years since we had walked up the famous hill at the end of the harbour and as it turned out they closed it just after this date to do an upgrade as we had noticed how unkempt and weed covered it had become. We have seen it since and it has vastly improved.
Mike (David's brother) and his wife, Laura, joined us from their Queensland home for a few days (even the border was open at long last!) They stayed in a cabin in the caravan park with us in Woolgoolga and a great deal of enjoyment was had by all.
Of course we had to take them on the walk in Sawtell and to "our" seat overlooking the ocean.
We spent a morning on a fishing quest at Red Rock and another on the Sky Walk overlooking the Coffs area.
Back to Sawtell before returning home, this time with a site overlooking the Council Croquet lawn which is always heavily supported by the locals.
One of our favourite entertainers in the Coffs region, Errol Gray, entertained us sitting on the verandah of the kitchen area so that the audience could sit outside suitably spaced as per Covid rules. He is an extremely amusing and talented man and Macca (Sunday mornings on the ABC) frequently plays his songs which generally relate to us oldies and our penchant for Jayco caravans pulled by Toyota Prados!)

Every evening at drinks time, Cindy and I packed our cheese and bikkies, our wine, our glasses and made our way to the pathway on the headland to enjoy the scenery
