The second week saw us setting off up the M4 to South Wales and The Gower. Having never been to Wales at all we were quite astonished after the border to see how keen the Welsh are on their own language as every single sign was bi-lingual (and thoroughly unpronouncible!) The Gower certainly lived up to its reputation for lovely countryside and we were thrilled with the house that Dennis and cousin Neil has arranged for us to rent whilst there. Lots of space and good facilities.
